“WHERE’S YOUR MUSTARD SEED?”
By Quycinda
Dear Saints, the Lord has taken our prayer group on a
spiritual course last week and I would like to give it to you
so that you can share in the spiritual wealth that the Lord
has given us. There are two scriptures that God had imparted
to us to grow upon. These two scriptures are Matthew 3:10 and
Luke 11:33-36.
The Lord had given us three days of prayer, in which there
would be a lot of spiritual cleaning taking place. Each one
of these three days was very important; that God had opened up
a door, to His presence that would only be for that specific
time. The scripture that was to be our guide was Matthew
3:10. It reads: “And now also the axe is laid unto the root
of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth
good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” The Holy
Spirit imparted to us that this prayer was very special
because not only would we have to pour this scripture, by
prayer, into our life but we had to show our faith in action.
The way that the Holy Spirit had us to show action was in
actually drawing or printing out a barren tree on paper,
placing this scripture on the paper, and writing upon this
barren tree everything within and about our life that was
unfruitful. The first and second day we warred in the Spirit
that the things which we had upon our trees would be cast
down. For an example, here are some things that we had upon
our barren tree to be hewn down that you may also think about;
past hurts, anger, unforgiveness, fears, hatred, spiritual and
physical poverty, gossiping, procrastination, spiritual blocks
against righteousness and holiness, sadness, depression,
deprivation, oppression, abusive and
deceitful people, self defeating patterns of behavior,
creditors, mismanagement of finances, school tuition,
disobedience, laziness, soul ties, lack of Wisdom, lack of
Understanding, and more. As we prayed, there were things that
the Holy Spirit brought into our prayer that weren’t upon our
trees, such as disbelief and unbelief, and anything that stood
in the way of a full baptism in Christ.
This prayer was so important that the Holy Spirit said a
prayer of protection over this prayer. It was at that time,
we begin to realize the magnitude of what the Lord was doing.
The protection prayer was that this special prayer would be
hid from the enemy; that he would not be able to see or sense
what our requests were on the Altar of the Lord. Then the
Holy Spirit begin to tell us that everything that the enemy
stood in the way against, that he was no longer able to do.
He couldn’t hold onto anything that belonged to us and
neither could he use anyone to stand in our way. Anything he
had he would have to let it go. He had to let it go.
God also began to show us that in all
believers the walls of our souls need restoration; that at one
time we were all beautiful and sinned destroyed the temple of
our soul. The light of Christ is that which makes our walls
ever the more beautiful; that there are special markings upon
the soul. Than, in
the Spirit, I began to see and then pray that the walls of our
soul become engraved with the beautiful markings of scripture,
from Genesis to Revelations. I saw scripture’ being imprinted
into the walls of the soul as the Word of God (Christ) becomes
one with the believer. And these markings could be felt as a
blind man reads Braille. And I began to understand that as
this is done, there’s only so much that Satan can do to a soul
with God’s engraved markings upon it. Once you have Christ,
these markings never go
away, even when you back slide. But it’s like the soul
becomes like an abandoned building that one can tell
historically was once a beautiful, unique, and solid
foundation that has a story to tell. And it sits and waits
for the light of Christ to re-enter restoring its original
beauty and form. Let me ask you, if a blind man took his
fingers across your soul what would he read and experience?
Would Matthew 11:5 sparkle and strike the ends of his finger
tips saying, “The blind receive their sight, and the lame
walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are
raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”
That’s why it’s important to absorb God’s Word and for Souls
to be Saved through the Light of Christ. And this leads us
to the third day.
